On 28th June 2014 I am putting on a concert at St Andrew’s Church in Chippenham which will feature all of my choirs plus Adlib, directed by Clive Stocker and a choir run by David Dewar. I am just in the process of starting to plan this concert. So far we have a vague outline of the programme but little else!
As I sit down to prepare for an event, which isn’t really that far away, it turns out there really is rather a lot to do! The choirs are all ‘booked’ and the church is confirmed. The next issue is marketing and publicity. I’m currently working on ideas for posters and then theres the question of how we sell tickets?
My first issue is a question of funding and as I type this I am looking for sponsors to support the event to cover some of the costs involved in putting on such a concert. The main reason behind this is to ensure we can donate as much as possible to the Great Western Hospital Breast Cancer Appeal.
