Just before Christmas I was involved with a recording at Colerne Primary School in which my recording company 4 Part Music recorded the song Diamond Days. The song was written by Tessa Cox and is now being promoted by the Golden Oldies Charity to possibly be used as part of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations. As producer my role is to control how the song is put together in terms of both the recording and subsequent orchestration. The video below was taen at the recording session where the children of Colerne Primary School sang with a piano accompaniment.
Following this session I have since added orchestration to the song and mastered it for use as a demo CD. I will put up an excerpt of that in the next few days. The final plan for this song is to record it in my studio with a solo voice singing over the orchestration which was created in my studio using Logic Pro and East West instruments.
